AA Gent is vice champion
For the first time in 55 years AA Gent has finished second in the Jupiler Pro League after a smashing 6-2 victory against FC Bruges. The man of the match was Randall Azofeifa with a goal and two assists. Azofeifa himself opened the score after only 13 minutes. Twenty minutes later Leye headed Azofeifa's corner straight into the net. Only three minutes later El Ghanassy scored the 3-0.
After the restart Lepoint scored on a centre of Azofeifa. The other goals came from Perisic (62st minute), Custovic (83st), Kouemaha (85st) and Thijs (89st). With this victory AA Gent seized second place and a ticket into the Champions League qualifiers. Congratulations Randall, Kenny, Roy and Christophe!
