Júnior Díaz signs with Club Bruges

Costa Rican left back Júnior Díaz (26), previously at Wisla Krakow (Poland), has signed a contract at Club Brugge, binding him at the Belgian team for three seasons, with an option for two additional years. Júnior Díaz will be joining his national team against Jamaica this weekend, and will be making his way to Brugge afterwards.
As a 19-year old, Júnior Díaz started in the line-up at CS Herediano, playing 133 games for he team, scoring ten goals. He was signed by Wisla Krakow in the summer of 2007. After a year of adapting, Júnior Díaz was the undisputed left back as of 2008. He has played 95 games at Wisla, again scoring 10 goals. So far, Junior Diaz has been capped fourty times after his breakthrough at Herediano in 2003 (1 goal).
