Ruiz leads Twente to title
For the first time in its history FC Twente has become the Dutch football league champion. After leading the league for many weeks, the “Tukkers” won 2-0 against NAC Breda in the final match of the season. Bryan Ruiz made the opening goal in the first half for FC Twente. The title was only secured in the final minutes of the nail-bitingly exciting game by a goal from Miroslav Stoch. Amsterdam’s Ajax was just one point behind them. Ajax won 4-1 against Nijmegen's NEC in an away match. Watch Ruiz's goal and reaction.
