Scepovic signs for Club Brugge

Club Brugge realised its second incomming transfer for the First team for the coming season, signing 20-year old Serbian striker Stefan Scepovic from Sampdoria Genua.
Born 10 January 1990, Stefan Scepovic was formed in his home country at OFK Belgrade, with loans out to FK Mlani Radnik and FK Sopot. At age 17, Stefan made his debut in OFK’s main outfit. Last season, Sampdoria Genua brought him to the Serie A, also on loan. At Sampdoria, Scepovic was used as a back-up to the successful two up front Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini, leading Sampdoria to fourth place in the Serie A.
Stefan Scepovic, son of former Partizan striker Sladjan Scepovic, sparked the interest of several teams during the last weeks, a.o. Juventus, but also Cesena and FC Genoa. After Sampdoria decided not to lift the option in the contract with Belgrade, Stefan opted for Club Brugge. He signed a three-year contract, with an option for an additional season. At Club, Stefan Scepovic will be wearing nr. 8.
